Derwent House is the sympathetic conversion of the former Colne Grammar School into 23 luxury apartments carried out by H Rigg Properties. The development cost £4 million and took 52 weeks to complete.
The project involved the demolition of ancillary block and catering block removed to leave the existing building standing in its previous magnificent glory.
The transformation involved structural alteration, the restoration of the west moorland green slate roof and new windows made by our highly skilled inhouse joiners shop.
Dempsey Dyer have provided 256 Decoroc Ivory frames to the value of £82,000. The development was completed in December 2010.
Such is the impressive finish of the building and the frames, Deceuninck are to complete a marketing photo shoot following client handover.
